My daughter started playing piano in the 3rd grade and by the time she came to Adriana, she was in the 10th grade making Adriana her fourth piano teacher. I wish we had known Adriana earlier! She is exceptional. If you are looking for excellence in someone who teaches piano, you have found her! From learning how to play, how to practice and how to perform at the highest level, Adriana coaches students through every step giving immediate and practical feedback. She combines brain research about learning and specifically learning the piano, while giving choice to students in selecting music they enjoy but which covers the musical complexity necessary for growth. Adriana took my daughter from a budding piano player to one who performed classics in classical music with grace and a combination of beauty and talent. Prepare to work hard and enjoy the fruits which come with that. No matter the age or stage of your pianist, you will not regret choosing her as your piano teacher!

Thank you for the years and years of dedication towards my music journey! I love learning new pieces from the books you have gifted me, and I still continue to perform. I hope to see you in the next recital.

Thank you so much for teaching me piano for the past 12 years! More often than not do I try and play new songs and arrangements on the piano, and it's all thanks to your teaching. Come recital time, the Scherzo will be perfect :)

Eleven years ago when our son became Adriana's first piano student in the United States I would have never imagined the outcome to date. Adriana's teaching skills are geared toward each individual students ability to progress. Adriana incorporates Royal School piano performance and theory into her techniques to give students a well-rounded approach to the music. Adriana requires students to perform at two recitals per year to showcase their progress. Adriana demonstrates to students proper piano technique and once the technique is mastered she moves the student toward the lyrical phrasing of the piece. The piano performance piece is then mastered and has come full circle.
Our son's outcome to date prepared him to audition for college on the piano and be successful. Performance and theory were a part of the college audition. The performance piece was in a large recital hall in front of five faculty Ph.D.'s. The greatest complement given after the audition is by a colleague that does not even know Adriana was "he was very prepared and we cannot wait to have him with us!" Enough said.
Adriana thank you for all of your knowledge that you instilled and transferred to our son. His life and ours have been forever transformed by the music and your gift.
